How long have you been dancing? Since April of 2016
How did you get into ballroom? By accident really, I went to a beginner Salsa lesson and immediately after there was a Beginner Ballroom Social where I tried my feet at Foxtrot and Waltz — I was hooked.
Which dance do you enjoy the most? Hmmm… just one? Latin dances, Foxtrot and Swing, so far.
What is your favorite dance memory? Anytime I get to dance to live music, there’s always an energy in the air that ignites my desire to get out on the floor.
What dance goal would you like to conquer next? I didn’t even know the name of the dance when I first watched in awe as a couple floated effortlessly around the floor. I said to myself, “I want to dance that, and I’m going do it well one day.” Well, “one day” hasn’t arrived yet, but the dance is Quickstep.
What are your other hobbies? Kayaking (flat water and ocean), hiking, bicycling, photography and watercolors.
