It’s time to welcome in the Scariest Time of the Year! There’s safety in numbers, so join your Moonie friends as we head to Nightmare New England on Friday, Oct 27 at 7pm! $42.50 per person will grant one-time admission to each of their five Haunted Attractions (The Haunted Hayride, Carnage, Brigham Manor, The Colony and Festival of Fear!). If we can get 20 people to go, we can get a group rate! Please RSVP to by Thu Sep 28, at which time I’ll be able to tell everyone what our rate will be (based on how many people RSVP); then please plan to get the funds for your ticket(s) to me by Thu Oct 5 so I can order them all on Fri Oct 6! Check out the details at! Get ready to scream!
Costume & Shoe Swap at Sep 23 Social!
Have some costumes & shoes hanging around that are still in good shape but you don’t think you’ll ever wear them? Label them with your name and a price and bring them to the social this Saturday, Sep 23! Bring some cash (or checks) with you too, in case you fall in love with something somebody else brings! We’ll keep the costumes & shoes on display for the whole social (8-10:30pm) and hopefully we’ll all go home with some fun new things! Don’t forget to LABEL all of your things! Let Maria know if you have any questions! Can’t wait to see what you bring!
SYTYCD Tickets Anyone?
Hello Moonies! Ray surprised me today with an amazing early birthday present: tickets to see the So You Think You Can Dance Live Tour at the Orpheum Theatre in Boston on Fri Oct 13 at 7:30pm! I was SO excited! I’m obsessed with SYTYCD! Then I realized that it’s opening night of Aladdin, Jr., featuring Dara & Phaedra Brown. Needless to say we won’t be going to SYTYCD. Anyone want to purchase those tickets from Ray? They are BALC Row: D-Z; he paid $173.99. First to speak up and they’re yours! Email me at!

Last Sunday was a big hit! We’ll do 1 more week of FOXTROT, perfecting/adding to the patterns from last week! Social Patterns: Rumba on Oct 1 & 8!
Does the thought of dancing at socials make you queasy? Do you hear a Rumba and think you’d rather fight through rush-hour traffic than try to think of enough patterns to fill up an entire song? We’ve got just the class for you! “Social Patterns” will give you fun, interesting, easy amalgamations that you can feel great about using right away! It’s a great way to get you moving and feeling the confidence you need to start incorporating other patterns on your own! Join Maria on Sundays, October 1 & 8! We’ll do a Bronze Rumba Amalgamation at 6:45pm (pre-requisite: Basic, Open Break Underarm Turn) and a Silver Rumba Amalgamation at 7:30pm (pre-requisite: Open Rumba Walks, Quick Underarm Turn and Loop). The cost is $30pp for this 2-week class if doing ONLY the Bronze class or ONLY the Silver class; or take the 2 weeks of BOTH classes for just $50pp! Please email to let me know if you plan to be there! Hope you’ll join us for this super fun class!
New Boot Camp Starts Sep 26!
Hi guys! The next round of Boot Camp will start up on Tuesday, Sep 26 and run through Oct 24, from 6:45-8:15pm. The cost is $125pp for the 5 weeks, and the dance is RUMBA!
Summer of 2018 Bermuda Cruise!
CRUISE PLANNING! Ray & I had SO much fun on our Bermuda cruise that we’d love to take you all with us next time! We know it would be amazing if there was a big group of Moonies who all went together, to enjoy lots of fun activities, scrumptious food and great dancing onboard, and then luxuriate on the beautiful beaches together, so we are hoping to do a PaperMoon 7-day cruise from Boston to Bermuda next summer! Anyone interested? We’re not looking for an absolute commitment at this time, just an idea of how many might be interested and any/all weeks that would work for you. Please email if you think you’d like to travel with us, and let us know which week(s) would work for you: July 6-13, July 20-27, and/or Aug 3-10, 2018. We’d love to share this awesome experience with you! We’d be happy to answer any questions you have about the trip, and you can see the details here: Can’t wait to share this awesome adventure with you!
